Hire-Purchase Terms
CellMore provides mobile phones under a hire-purchase agreement (สัญญาเช่าซื้อ) governed by the Thai Civil and Commercial Code. This page summarises the key points for general understanding.
What this service is
CellMore offers hire-purchase of goods — not a money loan, not a personal credit facility, and not an installment sale. You hire the device from CellMore and pay rental across the periods agreed in the contract.
Ownership of the device
Throughout the hire-purchase period, and for as long as rental remains unpaid, ownership of the device stays with CellMore. You have the right to possess and use it, but may not sell, pawn, sublet, or transfer it. Once you have paid all rental and any other charges due under the agreement, ownership transfers to you immediately, from the date the final rental payment is completed.
Rental and payment
Total rental consists of a first rental payment made on the day of signing, plus monthly rental across the agreed number of periods. Full details appear in the Rental Payment Schedule attached to the agreement. CellMore charges no interest — the total rental is fixed from the date of signing.
Late payment
If you miss a rental payment, CellMore may charge a late payment fee at the rate stated in the agreement. This is a contractual penalty under the hire-purchase agreement, not loan interest. If default continues as defined in the agreement, CellMore may terminate the agreement and repossess the device.
Condition of the device
The device is provided in the condition, specification, and quality present on the date of signing. You inspect, check, and test the device yourself to your satisfaction, and accept that it is in sound condition, suitable, and meets your requirements in every respect. Every device is genuine and carries an official Thai warranty.
Collecting your device
Signing and collection take place at a CellMore store only. Delivery is not available. This website is informational: no agreement is concluded and no payment is taken through this website.
